Students who present a poster during either of the sessions will have the opportunity to apply for one of five $1,000 travel awards.

Application Process. Students must submit an application including:

  • A 500-word personal statement detailing their academic achievements, financial need, and how the travel award will contribute to their academic and professional growth.

  • A brief summary of the research they will present, including its relevance to their research or academic interests and field of study.

  • A letter of recommendation from a faculty member or academic advisor.

  • Proof of financial need (e.g., financial aid documentation, FAFSA).

  • A description of the student’s travel logistics and distance from the event location.

Awards will be granted based on: a) Academic Merit, b) Financial Hardship, c) Travel distance, d) Impact of Attendance on Academic and Career Development
